A presentation of the creative work of the eminent Turkmen artist Durdy Bayramov, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence was held in Canada

The 10th Congress of the International Council for Central and Eastern European Studies (ICCEES) was held in an online format between 3 and 8 August, 2021, at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

As part of this event, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United States, together with the “Durdy Bayramov Art Foundation”, organized a presentation on the creative work of the eminent Turkmen artist Durdy Bayramov, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence.

In particular, the works of the artist devoted to the art, culture and traditions of the Turkmen people were shown during the presentation. In their speeches, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Canada (with residence in Washington DC) Meret Orazov and founder of the “Durdy Bayramov Art Foundation” Keyik Bayramova underlined the role of the esteemed President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the development of national art and culture, as well as his support for the dialogue of world cultures.

The purpose of this event was to show the history and achievements of national cultures, as well as ways to build a dialogue between them.
