The foreign policy of Turkmenistan is being successfully implemented

In the capital of Turkmenistan and in the regions of the country, important events are held in honor of the 25th anniversary of the country's permanent Neutrality. As is known, in early December, the International Exhibition was launched, timed to the 25th anniversary of permanent Neutrality.

Today the exhibition is marked by the Day of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

On this day, various events were held, reflecting the achievements of the country's foreign policy activities under the leadership of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Turkmenistan maintains friendly and open relations with all countries of the world. The role of Turkmenistan in the international arena is being strengthened, in particular through active cooperation with authoritative international organizations. In commemorating the 25th anniversary of its permanent Neutrality, Turkmenistan has taken important steps in the framework of its foreign policy priorities. Cooperation with the UN, OIC, OSCE and other international and regional structures is expanding on a systematic basis. This year, Turkmenistan acquired observer status at the World Trade Organization.

Within the framework of the Day of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, today at the exhibition a round table was held on the topic "Achievements in the field of intensification of foreign economic activities of Turkmenistan." The event, which was held in a hybrid format, was attended by representatives of the relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, as well as international financial institutions, including the WTO, IMF, and the World Bank.

In addition, within the framework of the Day of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, an event "Model UN" was held. Representatives of student youth recreated a prototype of a meeting of the UN Security Council according to the Arria formula. Participants found an opportunity to discuss in informal setting key aspects of the international and regional agendas.

One of the landmark events of the Day of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was the ceremony of signing more than 20 bilateral documents.
