THE MINISTERS OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF TURKMENISTAN AND THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN DISCUSSED THE KEY ISSUES BY PHONE

On July 2, 2021, a telephone conversation was held between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.O.Meredov and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.B.Tileuberdi. 

During the talk, the parties discussed the key issues of Turkmen-Kazakh agenda. The Ministers noted the importance of regular and trustful political dialogue on the highest level in the advancement of effective political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.   

The Ministries paid special attention to the issues related to the preparation to the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of States of Central Asia planned to take place in August of current year in Turkmenistan.

The parties also underlined the importance of the upcoming visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan on the threshold of the Sixth Summit of the Heads of the Caspian States.

During the talk, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan congratulated his Kazakh counterpart with the professional holiday, the Day of Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
