PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN RECEIVED THE MINISTER OF ENERGY AND INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

On July 13, 2022, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates, Suhail Al Mazrui.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the time taken, the guest conveyed heartfelt greetings and an invitation to visit the United Arab Emirates from the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Head of state.

Conveying warm greetings from the Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, Minister of the Office of the Presidency Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Mr. Suhail Al Mazrui emphasized that the United Arab Emirates attaches great importance to strengthening friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation with our country which have gained new content in recent years.

Thanking for the kind words and conveying greetings and best wishes to the top leadership of the United Arab Emirates, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov confirmed Turkmenistan's commitment to the traditionally friendly interstate dialogue, built on the principles of constructiveness and mutually beneficial cooperation, which has a solid potential.

In continuation of the meeting, the prospects for further development of bilateral partnership, including in such an important area as the energy sector, which is a strategic sector of the economies of both countries, were discussed. At the same time, the high interest of the UAE business circles in the large-scale transformation programs and infrastructure projects being implemented in Turkmenistan was noted.

Expressing gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the active attention to the issues of bilateral relations, the guest confirmed the desire of the UAE business circles for a long-term partnership with Turkmenistan and participation in new promising projects.

At the end of the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan and the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE expressed confidence that the traditional bilateral cooperation would continue to be strengthened and successfully developed on a mutually beneficial long-term basis, filled with new concrete content.
